Seven years of this journey does something to your hope that’s hard to explain.

This week the answer was no. Again. And I felt it the way I always feel it — devastated. But not surprised.

That’s what seven years looks like. You stop being shocked. But the grief doesn’t get smaller. It just gets quieter.

I wrote this prayer for the woman who saw the negative this week and still got up. Still made breakfast. Still showed up. Still chose faith even when faith felt like the hardest thing in the room.

You are not alone in this. Not even close. 💛

Drop a 💛 if you needed this prayer today.

... Read moreLiving with infertility for seven years is a journey that reshapes your understanding of hope in ways that words barely capture. From personal experience, the rollercoaster of emotions—from devastation to quiet endurance—becomes part of daily life. I learned that it isn’t about the absence of pain but how you carry it. Each negative result, just like the one described, feels like a fresh wound, but over time, the shock dulls, making room for a more profound, quieter grief. Yet, in those silent moments, I found resilience. The act of getting up, making breakfast, and facing another day despite the weight of disappointment is itself a courageous choice. Faith plays an essential role in sustaining hope during this ongoing struggle. Even when faith feels like the hardest thing in the room, choosing to believe in a good outcome or a higher purpose gives strength to continue. I’ve found comfort in prayer, repeating affirmations like “You are still God” and holding onto the belief that I am not alone. For many, infertility coincides with other medical challenges such as endometriosis, adding complexity to the journey. The labels and struggles, sometimes dismissed or misunderstood since a young age—as noted in stories of being 'dismissed at 21'—can deepen feelings of isolation. Yet community and shared experiences, like those shared via #christianinfertility and #endometriosiswarrior, help create a support network. If you are on this path, know it’s okay to feel broken and quietly carry your pain. It’s also okay to lean on faith and others who truly understand. The journey changes your hope—it’s quieter, maybe more cautious—but it’s still there, and it matters. You are not alone in this, and your perseverance is a testament to incredible internal strength.
