she forgot for real

she really did forget who she was with and ran away from me. we were bff's for almost 3 years. then we got together for the second time because he last bf broke up with her because of other people's lies and put her out. she called me, and I picked her up and brought her back to my place because it was December, and I wasn't going to let her be in the cold. then in the middle of January we got back together and I asked her to marry me. I was the happiest I'd ever been in my life because she's my bff and she wants to get married. Then, we planned out our future with several different trips and planned to make memories. then we found a 2 bedroom apartment that would be our first home together. everything was good for a little while. then she lost her job, and shortly after that, I lost mine because of being sick from throwing up blood and borderline heat exhaustion from bing in the kitchen at work. so I was sleeping for a few days because I needed it. Then bills got behind, and then instead of talking with me, she started lying about being happy and in love with me, or so she says. then I find messages and texts on her phone with her ex, planning out how to get back together and when. I called her out on it, and she didn't know why, and it was stupid and promised to stop talking to him. which never happened. then after a week or so with the help of her gay guy friend. Who's an ass to her for stuff he can't let go of and uses to get her tondo what he wants and her ex were both in her ears telling her to leave me. then, just like they planned it out, she left. she was asleep until around 530 pm. or so. she wakes up "kissing me and saying I love you and saying she's not going anywhere she wants to be with me." Then, getting up and getting ready to go out with her gay friend, she says, but she was getting a little more dressed up to hang out with him. then when she was done, she went out to the kitchen video chatting with him, so I asked her why shes going to go hang out with him she could spend time with me before she left. then gets mad whips open the bedroom door, yelling it doesn't matter if she was doing it and that I was throwing a fit, which I wasn't doing . I simply asked a question. then she slammed the bedroom door. instead of feeding into it I grabbed my keys and headed for the door as I stepped into the living room she was going out the front door turned back to look at me she slammed the front door running away to her ex. every time she said she was going to hang out with her friend and that he was having a friend pick her up, it was really her ex picking her up every time and not going there to her friends. idk how long it was going on, but I didn't hear from her again until a couple of days later, trying to break up with me over a text. then came for her stuff on Saturday that week. I had a mental breakdown, to which she rolled hers at me and walked out. this was almost a month ago now, and she has yet to tell me honestly why she did this evil to me after she promised me she would never do it like my ex but did anyway.

When trust is broken—like in this story where a partner forgets their promises and feelings and returns to an ex due to external influences—it can leave deep emotional wounds that take time and effort to heal. One of the hardest parts of betrayal is the unexpected nature of it. When someone you’ve been with for years suddenly changes, especially under pressure from others, it can shatter your sense of security and self-worth. It’s common to feel confusion, despair, and a desperate need for answers, but often, those answers come slowly or never fully satisfy. In this particular situation, we see how outside voices played a significant role, with friends and former partners influencing decisions and pushing the person away. This highlights the importance of setting healthy boundaries and ensuring your relationship is shielded from destructive external interference. Recognizing toxic influences early on can sometimes prevent heartbreak. Dealing with the aftermath also requires self-care and support. Experiencing mental breakdowns, feeling abandoned, and confronting dishonesty are all severe stressors. Seeking support from trusted friends, family, or mental health professionals can provide perspective and tools to rebuild your emotional foundation. Additionally, lessons can be learned here about the value of openness and reinforcing honest communication, especially during challenging times like job loss or health issues which can strain any partnership. Couples who commit to transparency tend to weather storms more effectively. Finally, the phrase from the OCR "You said 'I've Got You Babe' Sharda And then... You forgot all about me" perfectly captures the pain of being forgotten by someone once trusted and loved. It’s a reminder that acknowledging these feelings and sharing your story can be a powerful step toward healing. If you find yourself in similar circumstances of betrayal and loss, remember: your feelings are valid. Healing is a process, and reaching out to communities or resources that understand your journey can make all the difference. Moving forward, prioritize your well-being and the relationships that truly uplift and support you.
