Let me start by saying that I LOVE the world Nemmy created in this book. You’ll find all the tropes we love in a dark romance & fantasy.
I genuinely empathized with Sona as I read this book. There are so many things she struggles with, but one I think many of us can relate to is identity. Sona, as an orphan raised in the system and lived with numerous foster families, struggled to define who she was.
The ending left me feeling emotionally drained. Nemmy truly knows how to inflict emotional damage. I can’t wait for the next book in the duet. #arcreview #bookreviewer #bookrecommendations
