Beautiful blooming succulent with babies!
I am VERY picky about my succulents, but I happened to come across this perfect one at Lowe’s. It was hidden amidst a bunch of them all suffering from low light. Usually I stay away from succulents there, but this was too cute to pass up!
Have you found any plant gems lately? Where do you shop for your plants?
Succulents are more than just trendy plants; they offer an array of styles and colors to brighten your space. When shopping for succulents, look for healthy signs like vibrant leaves and robust roots. It’s essential to consider light conditions, as many succulents thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. Watering is another critical factor; it's best to let the soil dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. In addition to Lowe’s, consider visiting local nurseries or specialized succulent shops for a greater variety of unique plants. Engaging with community forums on platforms like Lemon8, Instagram, or gardening websites can also enhance your succulent journey. You could find valuable advice and inspiration from other enthusiasts. Moreover, propagating succulents can be a rewarding experience, allowing you to create new plants from healthy leaves or offsets (the babies). This not only expands your garden but also provides a cost-effective way to enjoy a diversity of succulents. Remember, patience is key, as some succulents take time to bloom and grow. Join discussions in online communities to share your experiences and photos, and you might just inspire someone else to start their own succulent adventure!
