Things like the world is rejecting them, having to make blood mirrors and a past harem incident that comes back to haunt Ichii and the vampire world.

💭 My Thoughts: Being your true self is all En asks of Ichii. En wants to know not just about the vampire world but also Ichii. With his feelings growing with each day and their physical attraction skyrocketing through the roof; En is concerned if what he feels for Ichii is deeper than what Ichii feels for him. When Utsugi informs En that life is still short even as a vampire (the outside world is rejecting us) En begins to ponder what Ichii thinks of him. Ichii gifts him things, protects him and provides him with a place to stay. In which, Utsugi says En is partially to blame for his hesitation of becoming a blood pair with Ichii. En is the one accepting Ichii's advances.
While we also get hints at Ichii's place within Fangs, Aogiri reminds him during a check-up that Ichii is only given permission to stay because of the mercy of Fangs. But if he doesn't get a blood pair soon his bloodthirst will be enough to have him removed. But Ichii is not one to force En to make a decision; he tries hard to show En as much as he can about himself while also stating what they do is normal-making love, gifting, caring for each other. The blood pair doesn't just have to be a way to reduce the bloodthirst (a necessity) it can be a bond.
The cliffhanger was crazy! Megi (Ichii's original pair) comes back after escaping prison; claiming to be a reformed man. But when he kisses Ichii and En immediately steps in taking Ichii away-I was jumping for joy! En just make Ichii yours already; you are already protecting him as much as he tries to protect you.
After diving deeper into 'Fangs Volume 2,' I found myself utterly engrossed in the complex dynamics between En and Ichii. It's not just a typical vampire romance; it delves into the very essence of what it means to form a 'blood pair,' making it so much more than just a physical necessity.
