Hello, my name is Karn, 27 years old, Pakistani. My parents are Pakistani.

I was born and raised in Pakistan for 15 years and moved to Thailand for 12 years. I am now a shopkeeper in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. From my time living in Thailand makes me happy. Because Thai people are sincere, delicious food is easy to eat. I feel quick to adapt to Thai culture. Because Thailand is open to religious rights, it makes me feel very lucky. With my career, I meet many people and I am grateful for making me earn a living income. Especially my peers are kind, talking to make me feel like a friend. Not alone. Currently, my living in Thailand is like Thai. One person is proud to be here. I thank my supervisor for helping me with my well-being. Thank the government agency for providing visa extension advice. I am impressed that I want to stay in Thailand.

1. Why is it an alien?

A personal state is a legal status established to guarantee the existence and ability to exercise the rights, duties and abilities to perform actions such as nationality, forensics rights, family status, occupational rights.

According to the facts: The interviewee was born in Pakistan, without it appearing that the interviewee received Thai citizenship, only came to live and work in Thailand using foreign status.

2. Describe the domicile, legal dimension in a public and private way.

- Public domicile

To be used to determine, the exercise of state authority, immigration control and authorization, visa type determination, occupation and work by regulating work authorization and setting migrant worker quotas, state security aspects, prohibiting certain political participation of aliens.

From the facts: The interviewee has entered residence and has taken up a career in Thailand, has lived daily life in Thailand, has duly obtained a visa and has completed a visa in accordance with the prescribed law.

Therefore: Thailand is a public legal domicile because it is an area in which the state has exercised authority to control and govern the interviewee, according to immigration and other laws of Thailand.

The domicile in the private body is followed by Article 37.

The commandment used to define the domicile of a natural person is that the person has a place of origin.

From the facts: The interviewee has lived in Thailand, engaged in a career in Thailand.

Therefore: It is held that private legal domicile is in Thailand, as Thailand is currently residential and subsistence.

3. Linked to the principle of sovereignty

(1) The Sovereign Principle (Sovereign)

It is the principle that the State has the ultimate authority to govern, determine status, regulate entry-exit and restrict the rights of persons without nationality within its own territory, with the State having the legitimate right to determine conditions of residence and work in order to maintain stability.

- Power to determine status and nationality;

Such as establishing criteria including allowing an alien to enter residence.

- Authority to regulate entry-exit

Such as visa type, length of stay and permission to work.

- Restrictions on rights and freedoms;

Such as the right to an occupation, where certain types of occupation may only be reserved for nationals by law.

- Protection of labour and fundamental rights;

Such as the enjoyment of the right to medical care and the protection of workers, but still subject to the supervision of the territorial owner state.

So: The interviewee can reside in Thailand because they have permission from the state in accordance with immigration law, reflecting Thailand's exercise of sovereignty over individuals in their territory.
