DJI TOF depth sensor LiDAR calibration error elimi

From my experience working with DJI drones, calibration errors related to the TOF depth sensor and LiDAR can significantly impact flight capabilities, especially causing the drone to refuse takeoff due to visual system faults. One useful tool I discovered is GeekFix Suite, which allows detailed visual and TOF calibration through parameter adjustments and serial number inputs. The software scans relevant calibration files (.bin/.img) within specified directories and can rewrite or update calibration data efficiently. An effective approach is to first ensure that the correct 14-digit TOF serial number is identified and entered, followed by careful selection of input images that represent accurate sensor data. The software's log and status messages help in tracking the calibration process, confirming successful import of necessary modules like the calibration serial tool and verifying that files have been properly modified. In my testing, skipping recursive subdirectories and focusing only on the current folder layer helped simplify the process and avoid accidental edits to unrelated files. Also, installing required utilities such as 7-Zip at the expected path enables smooth handling of compressed calibration files. Proper TOF and LiDAR calibration significantly improves image quality, preventing the drone from flagging errors that would otherwise restrict flight safety. Fixing these issues myself has saved both time and cost compared to sending the drone for professional repairs. For hobbyists or repair technicians, following detailed calibration steps with tools like GeekFix Suite is invaluable for maintaining drone reliability and ensuring quality aerial imaging.
