My Silly Boy "FINN"

Oh, you guys have to hear more about my Finn! He's truly the most unique tuxedo cat I've ever met, and anyone who's seen him agrees he's a wild one. You know how some cats are calm and cuddly? Finn is… not that. He's pure, unadulterated energy, just like a little human boy, which is why I call him my silly boy! One of his favorite pastimes is his 'couch parkour.' Seriously, he races from one end of the living room, leaps onto the armrest, springs off to the next couch, and then catapults himself onto the cat tree, all in one fluid, chaotic motion. It's exhilarating to watch, and sometimes, honestly, a bit terrifying! I've learned that keeping a cat like Finn entertained is key to saving my furniture. We have a variety of wand toys, laser pointers (though I limit those to avoid frustration), and of course, his beloved scratching post on the grey cat tree base, which you can see in some of his photos. It's his personal gym! Providing vertical spaces and plenty of outlets for his energy has been a game-changer. Without them, I'm pretty sure my curtains would stage a rebellion. And then there's the shower thing. Yes, you read that right – warm showers! It started when he was a kitten; he'd always be fascinated by the water. Now, every other week, he actually enjoys a quick warm rinse. It’s hilarious! I just use a gentle pet shampoo, and he tolerates it surprisingly well, sometimes even purring. And the Old Spice? I know it sounds crazy, but if I leave anything with that scent out, he's all over it, sniffing and rubbing. He’s got such a quirky personality. I often wonder what goes on in that little head of his! It just adds to his charm and makes him even more of a distinct individual. Speaking of his looks, I get what people mean about his 'creepy' picture, the one where his wide eyes are staring intently. Sometimes, he just has this intense gaze, especially when he's focused on a toy or a bird outside the window. It's not creepy to me, though; it’s just Finn being expressive! He also has this really cool black marking right under his nose that looks exactly like a little mustache, which makes him even more distinctive. He's truly a handsome Mr. Ann, full of character. He often sits proudly on his cat tree, surveying his kingdom, with that little mustache making him look like a tiny, dignified gentleman – right before he pounces on an unsuspecting dust bunny. I actually found Finn outside on January 3, 2023, and he's been bringing so much joy and chaos into my life ever since. Adopting him was one of the best decisions, even if it means constantly being on my toes!
