Inside my newest journal page

I started journaling again. Just a way to get all the thoughts and feeling out before I explode. It definitely helps a lot.

I know my drawings are not the best, but I love them. Makes them cute. Also my handwriting isn’t the prettiest either, but it’s not supposed to look good. When you’re mind to going so fast your writing is messy and that’s okay.

I might show more inside my journal, I don’t know yet 😊

... Read moreJournaling can be a powerful mental health tool that allows individuals to process their thoughts and emotions. According to research, expressive writing promotes emotional well-being by helping to clarify feelings and alleviate stress. It offers a safe space for vulnerability and self-discovery, allowing you to explore your ideas freely without judgment. In my journey, I've found that imperfections in my artwork and handwriting represent my raw emotions and thoughts. Whether it's spontaneous doodles or hurried notes, each entry embodies a snapshot of my day-to-day experiences. Keeping a journal also helps in tracking personal growth over time, serving as a reminder of where you’ve been and how far you've come. The beauty of journaling lies in its flexibility; it can take the form of art, prose, lists, or even just random thoughts. Journaling can also foster creativity. Many artists, writers, and thinkers maintain journals to stimulate their imagination. By revisiting past entries, you might uncover ideas that spark your next project. This process doesn’t just apply to art but can extend to any aspect of life, helping you brainstorm and refine your passions. So if you’re hesitant about starting your journaling practice, remember that the journey is as important as the end result. Each journal page can be a canvas reflecting your unique story. Whether you’re a seasoned journal keeper or a newcomer, embrace the journey of self-expression wholeheartedly, and remember: it’s not about perfection; it’s about progress.
