Social besties? 💕
I’m a 19 year old stay at home mom, I’ve always struggled with finding friends but now that I’ve been a mom this has been the hardest time I’ve faced it. Don’t get me wrong I don’t need anymore then my precious daughter but it does get lonely going months without having a conversation with a grown up. The last conversation I’ve had with somebody other than my partner happened 5 weeks ago at Walmart with the cashier. I’m in desperate need of socializing even if it’s through the phone. I’m open to any and everyone!💕#Lemon8Diary #friends #mommyfriends #bestie
Navigating motherhood can be both rewarding and isolating, especially for new and young moms trying to establish social connections. Many stay-at-home mothers experience similar feelings of loneliness and the struggle to find time for friendships. Engaging with local mom groups or online communities can offer support and camaraderie. Consider platforms like Facebook, where local 'Mommy and Me' groups may help foster connections with others in your area. Online forums and social media can also provide a space to meet other moms who share common interests or face similar challenges. Utilizing hashtags like #mommyfriends can lead to finding like-minded individuals. Remember, reaching out for virtual coffee chats or engaging in conversations online can significantly boost your socialization without the time constraints of traditional meetups. It's essential to establish a support network, whether through playdates, phone calls, or messages. This can have a positive impact on mental well-being and help alleviate feelings of isolation. Overall, forming friendships in this stage of life may take some effort, but the rewards of companionship and understanding are invaluable.
