Trying this with my duo but in Fortnite
Hey everyone! As someone who spends countless hours grinding Fortnite with my duo, I’ve picked up a few tricks that have seriously upped our game. If you’re tired of early exits and want to start racking up those Victory Royales with your partner, listen up! First off, communication is non-negotiable. My duo and I use simple, concise callouts. Instead of yelling "he's over there!", we say "one heavy shield on the roof, white hit, cracking him!" This gives precise info quickly. Pinging enemies, resources, and even where you’re rotating to is super important. We often use voice chat for quick reactions but also ping for clarity in chaotic moments. Next, let's talk about drop spots. We rarely land in super hot zones unless we're feeling extra aggressive. Instead, we pick spots with good loot distribution where we can each get a decent loadout without fighting over chests. Sometimes we even split up slightly within the same POI to cover more ground, but always stay within support range. The goal is to emerge from the early game fully kitted and ready for action. Looting efficiency is another big one. After landing, we prioritize getting a decent weapon, shields, and some mobility. We share ammo, shield potions, and healing items. If one of us needs a specific weapon type, the other will ping it or drop it if found. Having complementary loadouts is huge – maybe one carries a long-range rifle, and the other focuses on close-quarters combat with a shotgun and SMG. As the game progresses into the mid-game, our focus shifts to safe rotations and securing advantageous positions. We always try to stay on high ground and avoid getting caught in the open. Paying attention to the storm circle is crucial; we aim to be one of the first duos into the new safe zone, allowing us to set up and prepare for incoming enemies. Avoiding unnecessary fights early in rotations saves resources and health for the crucial late game. When it comes to combat tactics, teamwork is everything. We practice focused fire – both of us shooting the same target to eliminate them quickly. If one of us gets knocked, the other immediately creates cover for the revive. We also coordinate pushes: one can apply pressure with an SMG while the other pushes with a shotgun, or one acts as a sniper while the other builds aggressively. Never push separately unless you have a clear plan and communication. Finally, the late game and endgame circles are where all these strategies come together. Positioning is paramount. We look for natural cover, high ground, and try to predict where the final circle will pull. Maintaining awareness of other teams' positions and numbers is key. We try to conserve materials for the final build-off and always have an escape plan, even if it's just a quick launchpad or shockwave. Playing duos is all about synergy. It takes practice, but by focusing on clear communication, smart rotations, and coordinated combat, you and your partner can definitely start racking up more Victory Royales. Good luck out there!
