Wild Side by Elsie Silver
Rose Hill series - book 3
✨ 5/5 stars ✨
First of all, at this point Elsie Silver is an auto-buy author for me. I’m pretty sure I’ll read ANYTHING she writes. I love Elsie Silvers characters and how characters remain in stories from previous books and are all interconnected. The histories of Rhys and Tabby and how this influences their relationship was such an impactful read. Watching two characters who don’t get along come together out of convenience and then fall in love (and also overcome demons of their pasts) was so fun to read.

Okay, let's talk about 'Wild Side' by Elsie Silver, especially for those of you who might have seen the stunning book cover and wondered what magic lies within! I know I was drawn in by the evocative imagery. The cover, with its majestic mountains, the lone horse rider, and that intriguing emblem, perfectly sets the rugged, romantic tone for Rhys and Tabby's story. It even features a quote from Ana Huang, which always piques my interest! It truly gives you a glimpse into the wild, untamed world Elsie Silver creates in the Rose Hill Series. If you're like me, constantly searching for that next unputdownable read, then you absolutely need to add 'Wild Side' to your TBR pile. This isn't just another contemporary romance; it's a masterclass in character development and emotional depth. Elsie Silver has a way of crafting characters that feel so real, so flawed, yet so incredibly lovable. The journey of Rhys and Tabby is a testament to this – starting from a place of convenience, almost resentment, and slowly, beautifully, blossoming into a love that feels earned and incredibly powerful. What truly captivated me was watching these two navigate their complicated pasts. Both Rhys and Tabby carry their own burdens, their own 'demons of their pasts,' and seeing them confront these while simultaneously falling for each other was just *chef's kiss*. It's not a superficial romance; it's a story of healing, growth, and finding solace in unexpected places. The tension, the banter, the slow burn – it's all there, woven together seamlessly. As an avid reader, finding an 'auto-buy' author is like striking gold, and Elsie Silver has absolutely earned that title for me. Her genius lies in her interconnected universe. You don't just read one story; you become part of a larger community of characters who pop up in different books, making the world feel incredibly rich and alive. Even though 'Wild Side' is Book Three in the Rose Hill Series, her writing makes it easy to jump in, though I highly recommend starting from the beginning to fully appreciate all the nuanced connections. Each book builds on the last, creating a truly immersive experience. For anyone who loves a romance where the characters really have to work for their happily ever after, or enjoys the trope of two people who initially 'don't get along' finding common ground and eventually true love, this book delivers. It’s got all the feels – angst, laughter, heartwarming moments, and steamy scenes that will leave you breathless. My 5/5 star rating wasn't given lightly; it reflects the impact this story had on me, reminding me why I fell in love with reading in the first first place. So, if you're looking for your next great escape, pick up 'Wild Side' and prepare to be swept away!

1000000% agreed! I’ve never been a reader up until a few months ago, I went to books a million & this was out front “now knowing it was a new release”, read the back of it & thought, yeah I’m gonna read this as the book that tries to get me to like reading and it WORKEDDDDD. I think you don’t have to read the first book or the 2nd to understand Wildside but Elsie silver is def my fav author I’ve found so far 👏🏼👏🏼
