🌳 Created On Purpose — Today’s Devotion
When we run into problems, trials, or unseen situations… which root will you take hold of?
Each day, we choose which roots to hold onto.
Feed the ones that give life, and watch your purpose grow deeper.
This new season of my life is teaching me that God doesn’t remove every storm —
He strengthens the roots that hold me through it.
You are Created On Purpose. Choose the roots that anchor you in faith.

When facing difficult moments like trials or unforeseen challenges, the metaphor of choosing roots can be a powerful way to reflect on how we nurture our inner strength. Drawing from personal experience, I've found that focusing on faith as the root system offers a solid foundation to withstand storms in life. Much like a tree relies on deep roots to survive harsh weather, our spiritual roots—developed through prayer, scripture, and community support—help us endure without being uprooted by hardship. Psalm 75:26 reminds us that during times of fear, depression, or addiction, holding onto faith allows us to find peace and resilience. In my journey, I've learned that challenges are not always removed but transformed through strengthened faith. This shift in perspective encourages us to feed the roots that give life, such as daily devotion, gratitude, and connecting with others who uplift our spiritual walk. Practicing intentional prayer journaling has helped me identify which roots to nurture and which to let go. Reflecting on fears and worries in writing enables recognition and conscious effort to replace them with hope and trust in God's plan. This process also involves choosing what influences to surround ourselves with, including supportive family, friends, and faith communities that encourage growth on purpose. Embracing a purpose-driven life means actively choosing the roots of love, hope, and faith over fear and despair. Ultimately, being 'Created On Purpose' means that each choice we make to hold onto strong roots shapes our resilience and spiritual growth. Every day offers an opportunity to strengthen those roots and watch our purpose flourish despite life's storms.
