Doodles I Like To Do 😃👏🏼

Have you ever tried to draw yourself as a stick person before? 😃👏🏼 I created my own character on how I visualize myself as a stick person and I absolutely love it. Drawing stick figures is one of the easiest drawings to do and actually it’s one of my favorite things to draw. I love to see how other people draw theirs.

I’m experimenting with different hairstyles on stick figures. It’s fun to create these simple doodles especially if you’re trying to kill time. Even give your stick drawing different emotions and movement if you like.

I have a collection of stick people drawings that have been given to me over the years by young and older ones and I absolutely love each and every one of them. Each piece is unique and special. I can’t wait to see what you create! 😃👏🏼💛

... Read moreDrawing has always been my go-to for unwinding, and honestly, there's nothing quite as satisfying as a simple doodle. I've found that stick figures are the perfect starting point for anyone looking to express their creativity without feeling overwhelmed. You might think they're just basic lines, but with a few tweaks, you can truly make them *slay*! When I first started creating my own stick figure characters, I focused on distinguishing them. It's so much fun to give them unique personalities. For instance, I love experimenting with different hairstyles. You can try short, wavy hair, a chic updo, or even long, braided hair. Adding little details like earrings or a cute blue bow can instantly transform a simple stick person into something special. And why not give them some stylish heels or even a pair of glasses to show off their personality? It’s amazing how a few lines can bring a character to life, making them look sharp and unique. To make your doodles truly *slay*, think about movement and emotion. A slight tilt of the head, an arm outstretched, or even just a tiny smile can convey so much. Don't be afraid to experiment with poses that show attitude or excitement. I often find myself sketching dancing stick figures or ones striking a power pose. It's about capturing a feeling, even with minimal lines. You can make them look super cute or hilariously expressive, just by playing with angles and simple facial expressions. If you’re aiming for simple aesthetic drawings with color, consider a limited palette. A pop of a single vibrant color, like blue for those heels or a bow, can really make your doodle stand out against a neutral background. I love using soft pastels or even just a single bright marker to highlight certain elements. This keeps it simple but adds a polished, artistic touch. It's not about complex shading, but strategic use of a little hue. And for those moments when you just need a quick laugh or want to brighten someone's day, funny sticky note drawings are perfect! I often doodle tiny stick figures performing silly actions, like tripping over their own feet, juggling invisible balls, or even just making a funny face. Imagine a stick figure with an exaggerated surprised expression or one holding a tiny, imaginary coffee cup. These quick sketches are fantastic for leaving messages for friends or just making yourself smile. They're quick, easy, and always bring a little joy. Ultimately, the goal is to create your own unique style. Don't worry about perfection; just enjoy the process. Every doodle, no matter how simple, is a reflection of your imagination. I'd love it if you shared your own stick figure creations on Lemon8! It's such a supportive community for artists of all levels, and seeing everyone's unique take on even the simplest concepts is truly inspiring.
