How do you practice self-love? ~ I would love to hear about it in the comments. 🤗💛 For our Self-Love Art Project today, we will write down Notes to Self on how we can show ourselves self love. I will share ways I will show self-love.

Self-love is critical to our overall well-being. Self-love helps us to take care of ourselves, it can lower stress, and move us to strive for success in life. It can also protect us from negative thoughts, because we learned to not feed into negativity. When you have a strong sense of self-love when a challenge or trial confronts you, you’re better able to handle the problem and tackle them. When we feel good about ourselves, it’s usually easier for us to problem-solve.

Building a self-love routines is an essential to nurturing your overall well-being. It involves habits and practices that contribute to your physical, emotional, and mental health. Making a Note To Self whether it is daily, weekly or monthly is a great start to showing self-love. It’s wise to take out time and reflect on how one can show self-love.

It’s not just about jotting down words; it’s about visually creating tangible reminders that nurture my spirit and connect me with my inner peace. To begin, I literally took a page and drew out several blank sticky note outlines, just like you see in the images. This small act of 'drawing' makes the whole process feel more creative and less like a daunting task. Once my template was ready, I started filling each 'note' with specific, actionable ways I wanted to show myself kindness and care. It’s amazing how much clearer your intentions become when you write them down. Here are some of the powerful 'Notes to Self' that have made a real difference in my life, inspired by this project: Find the humor in life: I used to get so caught up in stress and worries. This note reminds me to actively seek out laughter, even in small, silly moments. It instantly lightens my mood and helps me gain perspective, preventing me from taking everything too seriously. A good chuckle can truly be the best medicine. Share my true feelings: This one was quite a challenge for me initially! But being honest about my thoughts and values, both to myself and to trusted friends, has been incredibly liberating. It fosters authentic connections and significantly reduces internal conflict and anxiety. Ask for help: I always had this notion that asking for assistance was a sign of weakness. My 'Note to Self' now constantly reminds me that it’s actually a profound sign of humility and strength. It shows I trust others and value collaboration over struggling in silence. Take a break from social media: Oh, this has been a game-changer! I realized how much precious time I was losing and how frequently comparison was affecting my self-esteem. Stepping back created so much more free time for my hobbies, reading, learning new skills, or simply being present with loved ones. It’s a true gift of time. Surround myself with goodness: I actively started curating my inner circle and my environment. Now, I consciously choose to spend time with people who uplift me, encourage my dreams, and offer genuine, positive support. It makes an enormous difference to my daily energy and overall outlook. Go out for an adventure: Even small adventures count! A walk in a new park, trying a new coffee shop, or a spontaneous day trip. These moments break routine, inject joy, and spark a sense of discovery and wonder back into my life. Celebrate small wins: This has completely shifted my mindset! Instead of waiting for monumental accomplishments, I now acknowledge and celebrate every little step forward. Finishing a tough task, trying a new recipe, or even just getting through a busy Monday – it all deserves a pat on the back. It keeps me motivated and deeply appreciative of my efforts. Treat myself to my favorite dessert: Yes, a little indulgence is absolutely essential! For me, it's often a delicious slice of rich chocolate cake. It’s a simple, pure act of self-kindness that says, 'You deserve this moment of pure enjoyment and pleasure.' It’s about savoring the small, sweet pleasures life offers. Making these notes isn't just about the words; it's the entire act of creation, the visual reminder that greets me daily, and the unwavering commitment to nurturing myself. This creative self-love practice is truly a beautiful way to practice self-love daily and build a more resilient, happier mindset.
