Self-Love Art Project🤗💚
What are some goals that you have been wanting to accomplish? ~ Today’s art project we will share 8 goals we want to accomplish. It can be short term and long term goals. 🤗💛 Your goals can be from trying to get out of the bed when you’re feeling down to saving money to buy a home.
Having goals is a good way to focus attention on the things that are important. It allows us to create a vision of how we would like our life to be. When we have a goal in mind we want to reach, we tend to increase the amount of time and effort we spend on an activity, and develop effective strategies to achieve our desired results.
Commit to the process of trying to reach your goal. You will be so proud of yourself for being persistent and working hard to try and reach your goals. Reward yourself after you reach one of your goals. I know I plan to treat myself to a Sweet Potato Pie. 😂💛
I used shades of green for this art project because green can symbolize new beginnings and growth. You can choose whatever colors you want for your Note To Self. I will share my goals I’m working on personally. Well, let’s get started on our Self-Love Art Project for this week. 😃👏🏼

Starting a self-love art project using sticky notes has been such a game-changer for me, and I wanted to share a deeper dive into making it work for you! It’s more than just writing down tasks; it's about consciously nurturing your spirit and celebrating every step of your personal growth journey. First off, let’s talk about choosing your goals. The original idea of picking 8 goals, both short-term and long-term, is brilliant. But how do you really narrow them down? I found it helpful to brainstorm everything that comes to mind when I think about 'self-love.' It could be something as simple as 'Drink 8 glasses of water daily' or as grand as 'Plan my dream solo trip.' Don't censor yourself! Once you have a long list, group them into categories like physical well-being (e.g., 'Sign up for a 10K' or 'Stretch Daily'), mental clarity ('Read Bible In A Year'), social connection ('Make a new friend,' 'Suprise Someone with a gift'), or trying new things ('Learn Pottery,' 'Learn a new language,' 'Zip Line'). This helps ensure your self-love is holistic and covers different aspects of your life. When you're writing them on your sticky notes, make them personal and positive. Instead of 'Don't be late,' try 'Practice punctuality.' Frame them as something you are doing, or will do, rather than something you *aren't*. I love using different colors for different goal categories, or like the article suggested, using green for new beginnings. It makes the visual aspect even more engaging and reminds me of the fresh starts I’m creating. Now, for the practical side: where do these 'Note to Self' sticky notes go? I’ve tried a few things, and my favorite is creating a dedicated 'self-love wall' or a section on my corkboard. Seeing them every day, perhaps near your workspace or by your bedside, keeps them top of mind. You could even take a photo of your completed sticky note display as a digital reminder! The OCR images show a beautiful layout with pins, which is a fantastic idea for keeping them organized and visible. To keep the momentum going, I make it a point to glance at my goals each morning. Sometimes, I pick one small goal to actively focus on for the day. For example, if 'Stretch Daily' is one of mine, I make sure to do a quick 5-minute stretch before my morning coffee. When I achieve a goal, even a tiny one, I take that sticky note down and replace it with a new one, or simply mark it as 'DONE!' with a little flourish. The feeling of accomplishment, even from small wins, is incredibly motivating and boosts my self-esteem. It’s like giving myself a pat on the back, which is exactly what self-love is all about. And don't forget the rewards! The article mentions a sweet potato pie, which sounds delicious! My personal take is to choose rewards that truly nourish you. Maybe it’s a long bubble bath, an hour with a good book, or even just 15 minutes of uninterrupted quiet time. The reward itself becomes an act of self-love, reinforcing the positive cycle. This project isn't just about reaching destinations; it's about enjoying the journey and being kind to yourself along the way. I hope this helps you create your own powerful self-love project!
