Art Tour Of My Tiny Paintings 🤗💛

I looooove painting on tiny canvases! 😃👏🏼Some of my larger pieces I have duplicated it on a 4 in X 4 in tiny canvas. It’s sooo cute and tiny! 😂 I use extra fine detail paint brushes that are so helpful when I need to paint like eyelashes or eyebrows on a tiny canvas.

There is an artisan shop in my area where I sell my tiny paintings at. Every time I participate in Art Festivals or other Art events my tiny paintings always sell out fast. There are certain ones that I create that are popular so I make duplicates of them.

I’m looking forward to being in more art events this summer and fall. I’m preparing now making innumerable amounts of cute tiny canvas paintings with a wide variety of art from animals, landscape, people, boho to abstract art. 😃👏🏼

... Read moreHey fellow art lovers! Have you ever found yourself intimidated by a blank canvas, unsure of where to begin? That's exactly how I used to feel until I discovered the magic of tiny canvases. There's something incredibly liberating about picking up a 4x4 inch canvas; it feels less daunting and more like a playful experiment. It's truly a fantastic starting point for anyone looking for fun painting ideas! If you're curious about diving into the world of tiny canvas art, you're in for a treat. It’s perfect for exploring aesthetic painting ideas, even if you’re just starting out. Here’s how I approach it and some tips I’ve picked up along the way: Getting Started: Your Mini Art Kit First things first, gather your supplies! Of course, good quality tiny canvases (my go-to is 4x4 inches, but any small size works) are essential. As I mentioned, extra fine detail paint brushes are a game-changer for those intricate details like eyelashes or the delicate petals of a big pink flower. Don't forget your paints – acrylics dry fast, which is great for layering on a small scale. A simple palette (even a paper plate!) and a cup of water are all you need to get going. Finding Your Tiny Painting Ideas & Inspiration One of the questions I get asked most often is, "Where do you find your tiny painting ideas?" Pinterest is my absolute best friend for this! Searching for pinterest drawing painting or aesthetic painting ideas pinterest can open up a whole world of visual inspiration. I often save images of flowers (they're so vibrant and fun to miniaturize!), landscapes, cute animals, or even abstract patterns that spark joy. Don't be afraid to look at larger art pieces and think about how you could simplify them into a small canvas painting idea. Observing nature, everyday objects, or even just playing with color combinations can lead to amazing mini masterpieces. My Favorite Small Canvas Painting Ideas to Try: Mini Landscapes: Think a tiny sunset over mountains, a serene beach scene, or a whimsical forest path. Simplifying the details is key here. Floral Focus: As you know, I adore painting flowers! A single big pink flower bursting with color can look stunning on a tiny canvas. Try different angles and close-ups. Abstract Color Blocks: Experiment with different textures and colors. Tiny canvases are perfect for quick abstract studies. Cute Critters: Simplified animal faces or full-body silhouettes can be incredibly charming. Imagine a tiny fox or an adorable cat! Everyday Objects: A mini cup of coffee, a stack of books, or a tiny plant in a pot – these can be surprisingly engaging. Tips for Mastering Miniature Art: Patience is a Virtue: Take your time, especially with fine details. Don't rush the layers. Thin Layers: Build up your colors with thin layers to avoid a bulky look, which can overwhelm a small surface. Dry Brushing: This technique is fantastic for adding texture to landscapes or animal fur on a tiny scale. Consider a Tiny Paint Night: These small projects are fantastic for paint night ideas with friends! It's low-pressure, quick, and everyone leaves with their own adorable creation. I love how tiny canvases allow me to experiment, create, and even sell unique pieces that bring joy to others. I'm always preparing countless cute tiny canvas paintings for summer and fall art events, and they consistently sell out fast! I hope this gives you some inspiration to grab some tiny canvases and start your own mini art adventure!

Wow too cute! Do you sell them on Etsy too? For someone who would like to sell their art locally what do you recommend to start? How do I find information about local events!
