should I recreate it??
Four years ago, I undertook the challenge of painting the Tower of Terror as a stained glass window, inspired by its iconic presence at Hollywood Studios. I dedicated countless hours, meticulously focusing on every detail to ensure this piece reflected my best work at the time. The process was incredibly satisfying—drawing precise lines and layering colors made me feel deeply connected to the artwork. Recently, I've been considering redoing this painting. Since then, my skills have evolved significantly, and I think revisiting this subject could be really fun and rewarding. The original painting features a nighttime background, enriched with deep purples to capture the eerie ambiance. However, I’m interested in experimenting with a daytime palette that would bring out new tones and highlight different aspects of the Tower's structure. This idea resonates with many artists who revisit their earlier work—not just to replicate it but to reinterpret with fresh perspective and improved technique. Recreating a piece like this is not only an exercise in skill enhancement but also a way to reflect on growth as an artist. It encourages one to think critically about color harmony, lighting effects, and composition. If you’re an artist or an art enthusiast, I highly recommend trying this approach. Whether it’s a detailed stained glass piece or another medium, reimagining past work can lead to exciting creative breakthroughs. Stick around for the reveal of my original painting and stay tuned as I plan to tackle this new painting soon. It’s a journey through art, skill development, and personal expression that I’m excited to share with you.
