Hey fellow anime lovers! You know those days when you're just chilling, sketchbook in hand, and suddenly inspiration strikes? That's exactly how these Inuyasha fan art doodles came to life. There's something so comforting about revisiting beloved 90s anime characters and trying to capture their essence with your own hands. For this particular batch, I really focused on getting those distinct character expressions just right. It's a fun challenge when you're working with traditional art mediums! For instance, capturing Sesshomaru's calm expression requires subtle lines around the eyes and a relaxed set of the mouth, conveying his aloof yet powerful demeanor. And then there's Inuyasha's angry expression – that definitely calls for sharper, more defined eyebrows and a fierce gaze. I love how his white hair and red robe always make his anger pop! I used a mix of pencils and colors on a blue background in my trusty sketchbook to bring these characters to life. It was a joy to sketch Inuyasha, Koga, Sesshomaru, and Miroku. Koga's serious expression was a bit tricky but rewarding, and Miroku's gentle smile really adds a nice touch of warmth to the group. It's amazing how much personality you can convey through just a few lines and shades. I even included his signature staff! Thinking about these characters also makes me wonder about potential Inuyasha redesigns or even creating original characters (OCs) within their universe. What if Inuyasha had a different outfit, or Sesshomaru sported a new look? It’s a fantastic way for artists to connect with their favorite series on a deeper level and keep the creativity flowing.
