Resin Love🫶
Nothing more beautiful than the look of real gemstones and abalone shells shimmering in the light. Started these beauties on Monday. And still putting them all together for a Mother’s Day line. After I put resin on the first layer and cure for 2 minutes, I add my stones, add resin and cure again for 2 minutes. Flip over, put more resin on them and cure another 2 minutes. It’s a process. Then you are ready to drill your holes, carefully now or you will damage the resin and then your ready to put together your masterpiece!!#craftedperfection #resinjewelrymaking #fashionfinds #resinearringlovers #handcrafted
Resin jewelry making is an art that combines creativity with technique. To get started, gather high-quality resin and abalone shells, which add a vibrant touch to your pieces. Begin by mixing your resin according to the instructions and pouring the first layer. Ensure it cures properly before adding any stones. This technique not only enhances visual appeal but also preserves the integrity of the stones used. When working on projects, be patient during the curing process, as rushing may lead to undesired results. It's imperative to drill holes carefully, ensuring you don't spoil the resin’s finish. Besides abalone, consider experimenting with other materials like flowers or glitter for variations in your designs. Join online communities and forums where you can share tips, seek advice, and showcase your creations. Instagram and Pinterest can also serve as excellent platforms for inspiration and connecting with fellow resin artists. Embrace your creativity and enjoy the process of crafting unique resin jewelry!
