Here are my top 5 lip products in rotation ๐ (!! This post contains a review of a product I received from my recent Lemon8 box but was not mandated by Lemon8 in any way - genuinely sharing it because the product almost instantly made it to my favorites! Without further adoโฆ)
๐ 1) Benefit Cosmetics Benetint - Iโm beyond impressed with this product! Itโs so long-lasting and has a shade that can be subtle enough to blend in with the look or stand out in a monochrome look across your face by using it on the lips, cheeks and as needed. I think this product would make an excellent choice for anyone so highly recommend. Thank you so much, Lemon8 and Benefit Cosmetics!
๐ 2) Saie Lip Blur - I wasnโt even sure what lip blur actually meant till I bought this lipstick on a whim and boy, was it worth it! Its formula makes your lips smooth and blurs any unnecessary texture. And donโt even get me started on the shade! I have light/light medium skin and always struggle to find a lipstick that is not too light or blends right in with my face (in a not so good way). The shade Modern is perfect and will forever be my go-to neutral lipstick!
๐3) Maybelline Color Sensational - This lipstick is only just above $5 and has been in my collection ever since it became the first ever official lipstick I got a few years back haha ๐ I have multiple shades because the shade range is excellent, and donโt get me started on the great price again.
๐ 4) YSL Lipstick Balm - I think they donโt make this exact product anymore because I couldnโt find it on their website, please tell me Iโm mistaken though :( I got it in my Allure Beauty Box and its lightweight feel, instant hydration, great flavor, subtle shade and luxurious feel all placed it amongst my top products. I hope they start making it again! ๐ข
๐ 5) Bareminerals hydra-smoothing lipstick - This lipstick is very long-lasting and has a creamy formula. But my favorite part is the shade: Awareness. For anyone who hasnโt tried a Rosewood shade before but has always been fascinated by reds, you must give it a shot!! Rosewood makes a beautiful deeper red leaning maroon, tinged with brown/neutral undertones. You can build up this lipstick or keep it subtle like a lip tint. I think itโs just perfect for adding some depth to the face!
