i love these sketches so so much !! 😊
thoughts ?? i’d love to hear from you !! ☺️
As an art lover, there's nothing quite like the joy of filling a sketchbook with spontaneous ideas and aesthetic doodles. It's truly a personal canvas where you can experiment, practice, and just let your creativity flow without any pressure. I love flipping through my pages and seeing the journey of my ideas, from simple lines to more detailed character sketches. One of my favorite things to draw, as you might have seen, are eyes! They're so expressive and versatile. Sometimes I'll dedicate a whole page to pink stylized eye drawings, playing with different shapes and emotions. It's fascinating how a slight change in an eyelid or pupil can completely alter the mood. Other times, I challenge myself with a grid pattern of black and white eye drawings, trying to make each one unique. It's a great exercise for precision and exploring various styles, from realistic to more cartoonish. Beyond eyes, character doodles are incredibly fun and a fantastic way to bring life to your sketchbook. You might have spotted my take on a Domo-kun inspired sketch with those quirky crossed eyes, and a sweet Hello Kitty like character. These types of random drawings are perfect for when you're looking for what to draw but don't want anything too complex. They help you practice simplifying forms and creating recognizable figures with just a few strokes. If you're looking for beginner drawing ideas, try sketching your favorite cartoon characters or even inventing your own! To really achieve that 'aesthetic notebook drawing' vibe, don't be afraid to mix mediums or play with themes. Sometimes I'll use colored pens for a pop of color, even if the base is pencil. For a grunge aesthetic, you could experiment with messy lines, dark shading, or even incorporating text and textures. The beauty of a sketchbook is that there are no rules. It's a space for exploration, whether you're creating a vibrant page of colorful drawing ideas or a moody collection of grunge notebook doodles. If you're ever stuck on things to draw, try looking around you for inspiration, or simply open your mind to whatever comes to you. A sketchbook is a perfect place for those thoughts that might not turn into a full-fledged painting but are still worth capturing. Keep sketching, keep doodling, and most importantly, keep enjoying the process!
