Curved 90s Nailz!
My client came in asking for a freestyle curved set! So we brainstormed together and had so much fun doing this set!
I used
# 5 Valentino beauty pure!
With gelixir white gel polish
Zen reflective silver gel
Valentino black gel polish
And the red polish I don’t remember but I didn’t really like using it it was starting to harden on it own on my palette if that makes sense? Idk why it did that bc my other gels weren’t doing it
If you're aiming to recreate the iconic 90s curved nails, incorporating fall-inspired OPI colors can add a fresh seasonal twist to this nostalgic style. I've found that combining gel polishes like Valentino beauty pure and gelixir white provides a clean base that highlights the intricate freestyle designs. The reflective silver gel adds depth and a modern shimmer, complementing the characteristic curves of 90s nails. When working with vibrant reds reminiscent of the era, be cautious of polish consistency. In my experience, older reds can harden prematurely on the palette, which might be frustrating. To avoid this, try storing polishes in a cool, dark place and check their texture before starting. If the polish is too thick, a tiny amount of gel thinner can restore usability. For those who prefer press-on nails, curved 90s shapes offer both style and comfort. Early 2000s influenced designs often combined bold colors with subtle French tips, and layering fall-themed hues like deep oranges and muted browns can make your nails stand out this season. Adding acrylic overlays or experimenting with dip powders in fall OPI colors can also enhance durability while keeping the look authentic. Lastly, don't hesitate to express yourself with freestyle nail art—mixing and matching shades, glitters, and reflective textures truly captures the 90s vibe. From my own nail tech journey, the key to mastering these looks is patience and creativity. Embrace the freestyle approach, and you'll not only channel those nostalgic 90s vibes but also create unique, eye-catching nails perfect for fall.
