Who believes in ghosts?!?!

... Read moreGhost beliefs have intrigued humanity for centuries, crossing cultures and generations. Many people report encounters or feelings that they interpret as ghostly, while others remain skeptical due to lack of scientific evidence. These beliefs often stem from personal experiences, cultural stories, or religious backgrounds. One reason people believe in ghosts is the desire to find meaning in unexplained phenomena such as mysterious sounds, shadows, or odd sensations. Psychological factors like pattern recognition and the brain's tendency to interpret ambiguous stimuli as familiar shapes can also contribute to ghost sightings. Various cultures have rich traditions surrounding spirits and the afterlife. For example, the Japanese concept of yokai includes supernatural entities, and many Western cultures have ghost tales linked to haunted places. These shared stories help maintain and spread beliefs about ghosts. In modern times, ghost hunting and paranormal investigations have become popular hobbies, with technology such as EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) and thermal imaging cameras being used to detect potential signs of spirits. Although scientific consensus does not validate ghosts, the emotional impact and personal significance for believers are undeniable. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, discussing ghost stories and experiences provides a valuable look into human nature and the ways we seek to understand our world, life, and what might lie beyond.

I think it’s possible there are things we don’t fully understand. I’m open minded about it, even if I don’t have clear proof.
