At my age, I feel like I am not where I want to be. Don’t get me wrong, I am blessed, healthy, strong and loved but looking at reality, I am not where I want to be. Does anyone have all these thoughts and ideas in their head but don’t actually bring it to life? Well, that’s me. There’s so much I want to accomplish that I didn’t when I was younger and I am here now to accomplish those things. There’s no age limit or timeframe of when to complete/ accomplish something. I feel like long as it’s done, that’s all that matters.
There’s 6 more months in 2025 and I make a promise to myself to :
- Always put God first

... Read moreAs we navigate through life, it's commonplace to grapple with feelings of unfulfillment and self-doubt, especially when contemplating our goals and aspirations. In an era where personal development and wellness take center stage, it's important to embrace the idea that it's never too late to pursue our dreams. At mid-life, many individuals often reassess their paths, realizing that they have so much left to achieve.
This period of reflection can be a powerful catalyst for change. For instance, committing to daily practices like journaling can help individuals clarify their thoughts, set intentions, and track their progress over time. On top of that, engaging in self-care rituals—such as skincare routines, regular exercise, and prioritizing mental health—can improve overall well-being and self-esteem.
Finding a balance between responsibilities and personal interests, such as dating or pursuing education, can also foster a sense of normality and excitement. As you lay down your own promises for self-improvement, it's essential to acknowledge that each small step counts towards the larger journey. Remember to focus on progress not perfection; celebrating tiny victories can greatly enhance motivation and satisfaction.
With each passing day, check in with yourself and re-align your goals based on your evolving desires and needs. Just like the author, who vows to embrace yoga or engage in thoughtful spiritual practices, integrating healthy habits into your routine can lead to profound transformations. Embrace the freedom of pursuing what you love and enjoy the journey of discovering your truest self.
I definitely agree this is me 38
