Classpass > Aflo Pilates Package Holder

After 7 long months of Classpass-ing, I am giving my business to #aflopilates🧘🏻‍♀️

📍Aflo Pilates (Clarke Quay)

40 Carpenter Street (Level 2)

⭐️Reformer, Jumpboards, Private Group

⭐️5-7 min walk from Clarke Quay MRT

📍Aflo Pilates (Chinatown) - Relocated to 📍144 Robinson Rd

My main considerations:

✅ Price (~$22/ class on Classpass but subject to fluctuation)

✅ Location (near Clarke Quay & Chinatown MRT)

✅ Instructor (AMAZING and really one of the main main main reasons why I bought the package)

✅ Class Size (9 reformers and 5 wunda chairs)

Areas I compromise with:

😐 Paying a little more with package (~additional $4.50/ class - Anniversary package price)

🫤 No shower facilities

🫠 Small waiting area

😶 No assigned reformer/ chair (FCFS)

Chanced upon ✨Aflo Pilates✨ when I was trying out different pilates studios on Classpass. I loved the class and instructor so much that I would visit the studio at least once a week (Both Aflo studios are on my Classpass main interface 🤣).

I grew to like them more after they rolled out Wunda Chair and Jumpboards as I was also looking for studio(s) that provided them. Of course, bonus points when I realised my favourite instructor is teaching them! 💯 I definitely prefer to follow the same instructor for consistency, progression and rapport (just like how you have a favourite hairstylist). 💇🏻‍♀️

I didn’t go for the package then as Classpass was more economical (still is but I am able to accept the small difference). I was also aware that there are restrictions booking on Classpass vs on their own booking system. At least I can now plan for my classes earlier (vs CP’s 1 week window) and participate in their in-house activities. 🎉

❗️I am a paying customer for both Classpass and Aflo Pilates. #notsponsored #pilatesstudio #pilatessg #classpasssg

... Read moreIf you’re considering switching from Classpass to a dedicated pilates studio like Aflo Pilates, here are some additional thoughts from my journey. One key benefit of buying an Aflo Pilates package is the ability to book classes well in advance beyond Classpass’s 1-week window. This has allowed me to better plan my workouts and stay consistent with my favorite instructor, which really improves progress and motivation. Another point worth noting is that Aflo’s studios offer specialized equipment like Wunda Chairs and Jumpboards, which might not always be available through Classpass. Being able to regularly use these tools has enriched my pilates practice and kept me engaged. While the package is slightly more expensive per class—about $4.50 extra compared to Classpass deals—I value the more flexible booking system and in-house community activities you get access to. For anyone wondering about facilities, yes, there are compromises like the lack of shower amenities and a small waiting area, but the overall studio atmosphere and excellent instructor quality outweigh these minor drawbacks. Also, a little tip: Aflo Pilates offers an anniversary package with 15 group sessions valid for 3 months, which can be a great way to get more value and commit to your fitness routine. Plus, if you have friends interested, keep an eye on referral programs—as Classpass and others sometimes run rewarding referral offers that can help offset costs. Overall, the decision really comes down to what you prioritize most—whether it’s price fluctuations, class availability, instructor consistency, or studio vibe. For me, switching to Aflo Pilates was worth the slightly higher cost for the benefits of a more personalized experience and access to specialized pilates equipment.
