Hey everyone! I just had the most incredible getaway to Bluegreen Vacations Solara Surfside Resort, and I absolutely have to share my experience with you all. If you're dreaming of a coastal escape, this place might just be your next perfect destination! My trip there truly felt like living amidst 'seas of foam & stars' – the ocean's rhythm and clear night skies were simply enchanting. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The name 'Solara Surfside' really lives up to its promise – you're literally steps from the ocean, and the soothing sound of the waves is a constant backdrop. This resort offers that perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. The accommodations are a huge plus. I stayed in a spacious one-bedroom villa, which was incredibly well-equipped. Having a full kitchen meant we could prepare some meals ourselves, saving a lot of money and giving us flexibility. The separate living area was great for relaxing, and my favorite part was the private balcony with breathtaking ocean views. Waking up to the sunrise over the Atlantic each morning was an absolute dream! They offer various unit types, from cozy studios perfect for a couple to larger two-bedroom suites, accommodating different group sizes and needs. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and felt very homey. But let's talk about the amenities – they truly enhance the vacation experience. The pool area is fantastic, with plenty of loungers for sunbathing and a relaxing hot tub. For the kids (and adults who are kids at heart!), there are often organized activities throughout the day, which keeps things lively. However, the real star is the direct beach access. Being able to walk right out onto the sandy shores of Surfside Beach was priceless. We spent hours collecting unique seashells, building sandcastles, and just soaking up the sun. The resort even provides beach chairs and umbrellas, which is a huge convenience you don't always find. Beyond the resort, the location in Surfside Beach, near Amarillo, offers easy access to local attractions. We ventured out to explore some charming shops and tried a few local seafood restaurants that were absolutely delicious. It’s nice to have the option to dine out or cook in. For those who enjoy a bit more adventure, there are opportunities for water sports nearby, like surfing or paddleboarding, or even deep-sea fishing excursions. One of my most cherished memories was simply sitting on the balcony in the evening, listening to the gentle crash of the waves, feeling the cool ocean breeze, and gazing up at the countless stars. It’s those quiet, peaceful moments that truly define a relaxing and memorable vacation.
