Fortnite please remove the cars!!
I really hate having cars in Fortnite. I ever since the car season they have just made them way to common and take way to much damage. There is enough movement without them in the game and I am tired of chasing people and blowing up there car just for them to get another one and boost away. Limit how many and make them weaker. What do you all think? Thanks for listening to my Fortnite rant :p #fortnite #gamergirl #crypticskyye #gaming #youtube
Okay, seriously, I couldn't agree more with the original post about Fortnite cars! It's not just a minor annoyance; it genuinely changes the dynamic of the game in ways that often feel less fun and more frustrating. I started playing back when cars were first introduced, and while the idea was cool, the execution has made them a bit of a menace. My biggest gripe is exactly what was mentioned: their durability. It feels like you can pump an entire clip into a car, and the driver just boosts away with barely a scratch. When you finally manage to KNOCK DOWN a player by blowing up their vehicle, it often takes so much ammo and focus that you're left vulnerable to third parties. And then, poof, they find another car immediately. It completely undermines the satisfaction of a good chase or a well-played tactical engagement. Think about the Zero Build mode, for instance. Cars become even more dominant. Without the ability to build quick cover, a player in a vehicle essentially has a mobile shield with unlimited health (until it blows up, of course). Rotations become ridiculously easy, and it often feels like you're just playing 'chase the car' rather than engaging in strategic gunfights. I remember one match near HOLLY HEDGES where a team just kept circling in cars, making it impossible to push them without getting run over or shot from an unexpected angle. So, what can be done? From a player's perspective, we need better counters that aren't resource-heavy. EMP grenades are great, but they're not always available. Rocket Launchers are effective, but rockets are rare. Maybe we need a dedicated anti-vehicle weapon with more common ammo. Or perhaps, cars should take significantly more damage from all weapon types. Imagine if a well-placed headshot on the driver through the windshield was a thing! For Epic Games, I think a few tweaks could make a world of difference. First, reduce vehicle health across the board. They shouldn't be mobile fortresses. Second, consider limiting their spawn rates, especially in the later circles. Having five cars zipping around in the final few zones just turns it into a demolition derby rather than a build-or-shoot-out. Third, increase fuel consumption, particularly for boosting. This would make strategic fuel management a real consideration and prevent endless escapes. Another thought: what if cars had vulnerable spots? Instead of just general damage, hitting tires or the engine block could disable them more quickly. It would add a layer of skill and tactics to vehicle combat. When I see players like Plunkenater7447 or lenkenzter7441 getting KNOCKED DOWN in a highlight reel, it's usually by a well-timed shot or an explosion, not just sustained fire on a tank-like car. Ultimately, cars can add a fun element to Fortnite, offering quick rotations and unique combat scenarios. But in their current state, they often feel unbalanced and detract from the core gameplay experience. I hope Epic listens to player feedback and considers some changes to make vehicle encounters more dynamic, fair, and, most importantly, fun for everyone involved. It's about finding that sweet spot where they're useful without being overwhelmingly dominant.
