All men are the same?
Today after work, I ran to the store for dinner and household stuff, freezing outside, arms loaded. My man knew I was on my way home and I didn’t have my key. I got to the door, porch light off, locked. And there he was, laying on the couch, not moving.
I struggled with the door, making multiple trips with bags slipping from my numb fingers (I had to drop them cause I couldn’t grip tight). He just watched smiling. I told him I had more stuff, but he still didn’t get up. I bit my tongue to hold back anger and he asked why I looked “mad.” I didn’t even look at him, I didn’t want to snap. I asked if he was okay and he said yeah… just watching TV.
Now he’s asleep while I cook dinner after I worked all day. He had the day off, gamed most of it, did a little laundry that’s still on the table. This stuff happens all the time. Should I confront him or wait ‘til my anger fades (like I always do)? Would you be mad if your partner ignored you struggling with groceries especially when they had a free day?
