I left my heart in California.🖤

I’m not sure that I will ever recover from the depression that came upon me with moving away from SoCal. It was the only place that’s ever really felt like home to me, where I was truly happy and felt a strong sense of belonging. And no one really understands it but I grieve over my memories of my life there like a lost loved one. I miss the ocean like it was my mother, after all it was where I would run to escape any time life got too heavy. The rhythm of the waves would calm my soul without fail. And now I look around and she’s nowhere to be found. Where can I run?!😔🌊
