Up and down
Hello, lemon lovers 🍋💕
I've been taking collagen for my skin hair and nails. However, I have been slacking on my mackin & slowed down on the collagen. I was taking 6 vitamins a day. These pills were huge… it was torture. Now that I've slowed down… I have chin pimples. I normally do not break out EVER. Yet now, as you can see mama has chin pimples. Or I should say HAD because this was a few days ago. Today I’m just going through the after-effects. Dryness, staining, black spots… my face is always clear but dry. So… is this a thing? Or is my body just going a little off the rail?
Collagen is widely known for its benefits in skin, hair, and nail health. Yet, the experience of skin issues, like pimples and dryness, upon reducing collagen intake can be common. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional when experiencing unusual skin reactions, especially after dietary changes. While collagen supplements can improve skin elasticity, they may not be the sole solution for maintaining a clear complexion. Incorporating a balanced diet rich in vitamins A, C, and E can complement collagen benefits. Additionally, drinking plenty of water and following a regular skincare routine can help manage dryness and pigmentation concerns, ensuring your skin remains healthy and hydrated. Many individuals face hormonal changes, stress, or environmental factors that can influence skin health. Understanding these aspects can be key to preventing breakouts. For those concerned about skin care, maintaining a thorough understanding of your body’s reactions to supplements and alterations in routine is crucial. Always listen to your body and prioritize consistency in your health regimen.
