This chapter feels familiar 🤍
I’m in a season of trying to put myself back together.
I’m on a mind, body, and skin journey because I want to get myself back on track — but during this process, so many things are happening at once that I’m starting to feel like I don’t have control anymore.
My youngest child is about to have a baby.
I’m struggling in my relationship.
I’m questioning my career and whether I’m truly content.
My car was hit, so now I’m dealing with insurance and repairs.
Bills are piling up.
It feels like everything is stacked against me all at once.
And all of this is happening while I’m trying to heal, grow, and rebuild myself.
But the thing is — I’ve been here before.
I’ve lived through divorce.
I’ve experienced the loss of a sibling at a very young age.
I know hardship. I know grief. And I know survival.
I also know this: I’ve always made it to the other side.
Right now, everything feels heavy. Some days it feels overwhelming. But even in survival mode, I believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For now, all I can do is pray, breathe, and take things one moment at a time.
If you’re walking through a heavy season too, you’re not alone 🤍
Sometimes surviving is the strength.
✨ What helps you keep going when life feels like it’s piling up?
Going through heavy seasons in life can truly test your strength and resilience. From my own experience and conversations with others who have faced similar hardships, I've learned that acknowledging the chaos is often the first step to regaining control. Life sometimes piles on challenges all at once—whether it's family changes, relationship struggles, career doubts, unexpected expenses, or emotional pain—but surviving these moments requires patience and self-compassion. One helpful approach I've embraced involves breaking down problems into manageable pieces. Instead of feeling crushed by the big picture, I focus on small victories each day, such as taking time to breathe, practicing gratitude, or seeking support from friends or counselors. Mind, body, and skin care journeys, like the one mentioned, really highlight how caring for ourselves holistically can anchor us amidst turmoil. Simple routines—hydrating skin, mindful movement, or meditation—not only improve physical well-being but also nurture mental clarity. Moreover, the phrase "I KNOW THIS SEASON I’VE SURVIVED HARDER" resonates deeply as a reminder that resilience builds over time. Each hardship survived adds strength for the next. It’s important to offer yourself grace during overwhelming times and to recognize that being in survival mode is often proof of enduring power. If you find yourself carrying a heavy load, consider reaching out to community groups or therapy resources. Sometimes just sharing your story lightens the burden and connects you to others walking similar paths. Prayer, meditation, and moments of stillness can offer a light at the end of the tunnel as you rebuild. Ultimately, surviving these seasons requires honoring your own process, embracing your feelings, and holding onto hope, even when the road forward isn’t clear. Taking it one moment at a time and celebrating the small steps forward can transform survival into genuine growth and healing.
