✨Morning Planning ✨
The best planning time for me is always in the mornings! Being neurospicy 🧠🌶️ comes with many challenge that I can’t always plan for! If my “best self” makes the plans on Sunday night for the entire week and I wake up on Monday morning in burnout, I am setting myself up for failure.
If you’re like me, I don’t always know how I’m going to feel from day to day. Instead of fighting the great battle and pushing myself to complete the list, I have found it best if I plan in the morning- every morning. ☀️ I wake up and sit down with my cup of coffee ☕️ and quickly gage my mood, anxiety levels, and mental clarity.
Today might be a great day mentally and I plan my hardest/ most important tasks. Today might also be a down day. If that is the case, I may need to schedule extra rest or low effort tasks.
It is so important to work with yourself and not against yourself! Remember, the path to your dreams is a sprint and not a race! We are humans and not robots!🚫🤖 It is ok to give yourself grace!💕

Morning planning can be a game-changer for boosting productivity, especially for those with neurodiverse minds. By assessing your mood and energy levels each morning, you can tailor your tasks to fit your mental state. It's essential to recognize that productivity isn't one-size-fits-all. Changing your planning strategy to fit daily variations can improve outcomes and reduce burnout. Engaging in morning reflection allows you to map out your priorities according to how you feel, which can vary from day to day. On high-energy days, schedule your most challenging tasks, but on days when you're feeling down, opt for lighter, more manageable work. Another important aspect of flexible morning planning is the acknowledgment of self-compassion. Remember that your mental health is just as important as your productivity. It's perfectly okay to adjust your plans to accommodate your feelings. Leaning into a blend of structure and flexibility means you give yourself the grace to rest and rejuvenate when needed. Consider adopting prompts or journals that guide your morning reflection, helping you to focus on gratitude or what you're looking forward to in your day. Not only does this practice set a positive tone, but it also reinforces a balanced approach to working towards your dreams. Ultimately, the journey to achieving your goals should be empowering rather than rigid. Through understanding and adapting to your own needs, you pave a smoother path to success.
