They tried to force-feed us self-hate

They yelled “unclean”…

But my skin is not a curse.

It’s not contagious. It’s a battle within an autoimmune fight I didn’t choose.

Long before the diagnosis, the bullying, the emotional scars He healed me.

He paid for it all.

This weekend, we celebrate His life, death, and resurrection.

Because of Him, I am redeemed.

Because of Him, I know my worth.

Because of Him, I’m doing the mental work of unlearning shame and helping others do the same.

They tried to force-feed us self-hate.

But God called us healed.

Worthy. Loved. Whole.
