Playing Dr. Mario on the Game Boy emulator through Nintendo Switch Online can be surprisingly challenging, especially for newcomers. One common issue players face is struggling to score points due to difficulty matching the viruses and capsules efficiently. Understanding the core mechanics is key: the game’s objective is to eliminate all the viruses by aligning colored capsules in rows of three or more matching colors. A frequent mistake is rushing without a clear strategy, which leads to clutter and missed matches. It’s helpful to focus on clearing one section of the playfield at a time and planning your moves to set up combo chains. Utilize the suspend menu's rewind feature prudently—a useful tool to undo mistakes and experiment with different placements without restarting the entire level. Another tip is becoming familiar with the controls—especially the SELECT and START buttons that allow you to pause or access menus seamlessly. Taking the time to practice the controls can improve your reaction time and overall gameplay. If repeated attempts leave you frustrated, remember that Dr. Mario demands patience and pattern recognition skills. Watching tutorials or gameplay videos online can provide visual guides and new tactics. Joining online communities or forums like #gamingfails and #gamewithme may offer support from fellow players who’ve overcome similar hurdles. Lastly, embrace the challenge as part of the fun. Many players experience setbacks early on but find joy and satisfaction as their skills improve. Keep practicing, and consider setting small goals – like clearing one virus at a time – to build confidence and gradually master the game’s mechanics.

Okay so Dr. Mario is actually kinda harder than it looks lol! It's all about trying to get 3 of the same color to line up horizontally or vertically. Did you try matching the colors of the falling pills with the virus colors? 😅
