Just a girl and her service dog
Meet my dog🐶: this is my medical alert service dog Cupid, he is an English cream golden retriever mixed with a Great Pyrenees. I have non-epileptic seizures. They started a year ago when I was in rehab, I passed out and started having a seizure. I have no seizure history. For 7 weeks they refused to take me to the hospital, I was having 20-30 seizers a day, I was foaming at the mouth uncontrollably shaking. They finally took me to the hospital and I was diagnosed with seizers. Cupid was with me the whole time, he hates ambulances because he knows when I am out in one something is very wrong. He complies with the EMTs every time, he knows he can trust them to help me. When he was 5 months old he started to alert me for my sezuirs, with out any training. When we finally got home I was diagnosed with epilepsy. We are currently in training for him being able to alert that. Since non-epileptic seizures and epilepsy are two comepletly different things. That is my story.
