I survived an accident at age 5 only by the mercy of God.

Like the people in Mosiah 27, I have felt His “marvelous light” pull me toward Him. ✨

Jesus Christ is the Redeemer, the Only Begotten Son, and He invites all to come unto Him and be changed. ✝️

I’m a witness of that.

Surviving such a traumatic event at a young age not only shaped my physical health but also strengthened my spiritual journey. The accident left lasting effects; I’ve dealt with chronic pain and even underwent neck surgery. Yet, the awareness of being alive and able to contribute to others’ well-being has been a motivating force. Participating in community activities like the Color Run, where I supported efforts against social issues like sexual assault, reinforces my commitment to using my experiences to help and uplift others. Reading passages such as Mosiah 27 from the Book of Mormon has provided solace and inspiration, illustrating that change and redemption are possible through sincere faith. The chapter’s message that the power of divine grace can pull one towards transformation resonates with my life’s path. The love and mercy I feel give me hope and courage every day. This journey teaches important lessons: life’s challenges do not define us; instead, our responses to them do. Embracing faith, being grateful for each moment, and striving to serve others have been my guiding principles. I encourage anyone facing adversity to seek strength through faith and to recognize the power of God’s grace to bring light into even the darkest moments.
