9 years of creative growth
I first attempted to paint this portrait of my grandparents when I was 16. At the time I was extremely proud of the portrait. Now, at 25 years old, I never could have imagined how much I would grow as an artist.
My grandparents were very supportive of my art. While painting this I couldnt help but think how proud they would be of my progress. In that moment, my grandmothers favorite song came on (deitrick haddon- well done) and I cried while painting.
