You can run but you can’t hide

Hey everyone! So, you saw that crazy clip, right? Fortnite trios with my friends is always an adventure, and sometimes it feels like the storm is a bigger enemy than the actual players! I mean, who hasn't been caught off guard by a super-fast storm circle closing in, leaving you only '58s' to react like that OCR mentioned? It happens to the best of us, and that's exactly why I wanted to share some tips I've picked up for surviving and thriving in Fortnite trios, especially when the storm starts to get serious. First off, communication is key. Seriously, you can't overestimate it in trios. My squad always tries to set callouts for loot, enemy positions, and most importantly, our next rotation. Before the storm even starts moving, we're already looking at the map, planning our next move. Are we going for the high ground? Do we need to push through a contested area? Having a plan, even a loose one, makes a huge difference. When the storm starts its first few shrinks, it's pretty forgiving. But once it gets to those later circles, and you see that 'storm approaching in 58s' timer ticking down, every second counts. That's when you need to be decisive. One thing my team learned the hard way is not to over-loot or engage in unnecessary fights outside the safe zone. Sometimes, it's better to disengage and get to safety, even if it means missing out on some eliminations. A 'W' is a 'W', right? Also, always keep an eye on your materials. Building is your best friend when you're trying to outrun the storm or traverse open ground. Having enough wood, brick, and metal for quick cover or a ramp push can literally save your life. And don't forget about mobility items! Shockwave Grenades, Rift-To-Gos, or even just a trusty vehicle can be game-changers for those last-minute rotations. I remember one game near what might have been 'SWINGFIELD TOWN SQUA' (if that's a real place on the map, haha!), we were so far out, and only a perfectly timed Quadcrasher saved us from the storm. Finally, don't panic! It's easy to get flustered when the storm is breathing down your neck, but staying calm helps you make better decisions. Stick together with your trio, support each other, and remember that even if one of you gets downed by the storm, the others can still carry on. We've had plenty of matches where one of us sacrificed ourselves to provide cover for the others to escape. It's all part of the fun and strategy. Hope these little pointers help you all grab more Victory Royales in your next Fortnite trio matches!
