One of Hiroshima’s most famous early summer festivals is Tokasan Festival.
Located only about a 5-minute walk from CUBE Hiroshima, this traditional event fills the downtown area with energy, food stalls, and people wearing beautiful yukata.
Walking through Ebisu Street during the festival feels completely different from an ordinary day in Hiroshima.
You can enjoy classic Japanese festival foods such as candy apples, baby castella cakes, churros, shaved ice, and grilled snacks while exploring the lively streets.
After visiting the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, or Miyajima, spending the evening at Tokasan is a wonderful way to experience local culture.
