welcome to my little corner of the internet 🤎
there are really only two problems in a coaching business.
you don’t have enough time. ⏱️
and you don’t make enough money. 💸
everything you’re stressed about right now is just one of those two wearing a different outfit. the DMs at 11 PM? time.
the income that’s capped no matter how hard you push? money.
the clients you can’t take on because you’d break? both.
I know because I lived it. over a decade coaching, stuck at $200k, packed roster, looking like I had it all figured out when really I was drowning behind the scenes, choosing between my boundaries and my sleep every single week.
i got so immensely burnt out, i almost burned my entire business to the ground numerous times.
i listened to the podcasts.
i got in the big rooms.
i surrounded myself with people more successful than me.
i took financial risks.
I hired the business mentors.
and i literally sat their stuck. anytime the needle moved forward I’d take 10 steps back.
they said:
- it’s your content Kam
- it’s how you’re showing up online
- inside my “higher tier” we’ll teach you xyz lolol
but guys i freaking believed it. i invested more. still stuck.
until one day when i was at rock bottom, a total stranger who believed in me pointed out the exact thing i was missing the whole time.
guess what happened? my client roster skyrocketed. I finally broke my revenue plateau and my business income became predictable. (we’re actually best friends now) 🥺🫶🏽
and because of this i knew i had to turn around and help other coaches who are struggling the way i was.
so over the last few months i built a quiz that shows you exactly where YOUR time and money are going before you change a single thing (again).
this is the starting point i wish someone had handed me when I was coaching. 🥹
comment QUIZ and I’ll send it straight to you. then come back and tell me what you got because I’m nosy 👀
As someone who's spent years navigating the ups and downs of a coaching business, I can truly relate to the frustration of feeling stuck—constantly juggling time constraints and financial limits. One key insight I learned along the way is that these challenges often aren’t separate; they’re deeply intertwined. Time management directly impacts income potential, and vice versa. When I first faced burnout and dwindling motivation, my biggest blind spot was not clearly understanding where my efforts and resources were actually going. This lack of clarity caused me to try countless strategies without real progress, much like the "needle moving forward then taking ten steps back" scenario described here. Creating and using diagnostic tools like quizzes or assessments can be a game-changer. They provide an honest snapshot of your current situation—showing you exactly which activities consume your time and how those align with your revenue generation. By identifying low-impact tasks or unproductive time drains, you can make focused adjustments that lead to sustainable growth. In addition to time and money audits, connecting with supportive mentors or peers who understand your struggles is invaluable. Sometimes, an outside perspective can identify missing pieces that you might never see on your own. Don’t hesitate to ask for honest feedback and remain open to evolving your approach. Lastly, I’ve learned that setting clear boundaries—protecting your personal time and mental health—is essential to long-term success. It's easy to fall into the trap of overworking to fix money problems, but without rest and balance, your productivity and creativity will suffer, perpetuating the cycle. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your coaching business right now, know that taking a moment to pause and assess where your time and money are really going is the most important first step. This honest reflection lays the foundation for smarter decisions and a more predictable, rewarding business journey.
