A Year of Nervous System Restoration
A Year of Nervous System Restoration
Today marks the beginning of a full year devoted to me—
choosing singleness, choosing abstinence, choosing clarity.
This is a year of becoming.
A year of therapy.
A year of re-regulating my nervous system.
A year of returning to my soft, hopeful, optimistic self.
I’m releasing relational distractions, empty promises, and over-giving to people who cannot meet me where I am. I’ve loved deeply, shown up fully, and yes—I’ve been fragile. But fragility doesn’t mean weakness. It means I felt everything… and I’m still here.
My 2026 fitness intention is bold and embodied:
🏃🏽♀️ 2,026 miles moved
🏋🏽♀️ Strength training 4–5x a week
Because pushing the body sharpens the mind.
Discipline builds confidence.
Consistency restores trust with self.
This year is about wholeness, healing, and potential—
no distractions, no detours, no settling.
✨ What are you calling in for 2026?

Embarking on a year dedicated to nervous system restoration is truly a profound commitment to self-care and healing. From my own experience, focusing on healing the nervous system goes beyond just physical health — it involves emotional and mental balance as well. Incorporating therapy is a powerful first step, as it helps unpack deep-rooted stressors and traumatic experiences, allowing the nervous system to gradually regain its equilibrium. Alongside therapy, movement has been an essential component for me. Setting goals to move regularly, whether it’s walking, running, or engaging in strength training multiple times a week, not only improves physical health but significantly sharpens mental clarity and resilience. I found that this combination builds discipline and strengthens the trust I have in myself. Choosing clarity and consciously releasing relational distractions also played a big role in my healing journey. Letting go of unfulfilling connections and learning to honor my boundaries helped alleviate emotional overwhelm. This process has empowered me to foster healthier relationships and channel energy towards personal growth. Restoring the nervous system is about honoring the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength. Feeling deeply is not a weakness — it’s a sign of being alive and truly connected to oneself. As the nervous system heals, a renewed sense of optimism and hope emerges, inviting us to live with intention and embrace our fullest potential. Whether it’s through therapy, movement, or mindful living, committing to a year of restoration is a gift we give ourselves for a thriving and embodied future.
