Flyy and Kayla 🫶
Hi everyone! It's Kayla (you might know me as @kaylathayla on some platforms!), and I'm bursting with joy to finally share a little more about my incredible journey with my sweet baby boy, Alex. It feels like just yesterday I was dreaming of this moment, and now he's here, filling every corner of my life with so much love and laughter. Becoming a mom to Baby Alex has been the most transformative experience. Honestly, nothing truly prepares you for it, but it’s more wonderful than I could have ever imagined. Each day is a new adventure, and I find myself constantly amazed by his tiny victories. Just this morning, he gave me the biggest gummy smile, and my heart just melted into a puddle. Those little moments make all the sleepless nights and messy days completely worth it. Our days usually start with lots of cuddles and a big stretch from Alex, followed by his morning feeding. After that, we love our tummy time sessions! He's getting so strong, pushing himself up, and trying to look around. I try to make it fun with colorful toys and gentle songs. Sometimes I even play some calm music, maybe even a soft version of 'Want U' by Noevdv – it's so sweet to see him just relax. Then it's usually nap time for him, which means a quick moment for me to catch up on a few things or simply enjoy a hot cup of tea. The afternoons are often filled with walks in the park, especially now that the weather is getting nicer. Alex absolutely loves looking at the leaves and feeling the gentle breeze. His eyes light up with curiosity, and it's incredible to witness the world through his innocent gaze. We usually finish our day with a warm bath, which is his favorite – he splashes and giggles, making it the cutest bath time ever. Then it's another feeding, some last snuggles, and finally, bedtime. Watching him sleep so peacefully is truly one of life's greatest blessings. I won't lie, it's not always sunshine and rainbows. There are days when I feel completely exhausted, and moments when I question if I'm doing everything right. But then I look at his tiny hand grasping my finger, or hear his adorable coos, and all those worries just fade away. The bond between us is something I never knew was possible, and it grows stronger every single day. I'm learning so much from him, about patience, unconditional love, and finding joy in the simplest things. I'm so excited for all the milestones yet to come – his first crawl, his first steps, his first words. Every stage feels so precious and fleeting, so I'm trying my best to soak in every single second. Sharing this journey with you all means so much, and I love hearing about your own experiences too! If you have any tips for new moms or just want to share your own 'baby Alex' stories, please drop them in the comments! It truly takes a village, and I'm so grateful for this wonderful community.
