Happy Birthday to me 🥳

Turning 44 feels like a beautiful milestone to embrace both the joys and challenges that come with age. Over the years, I have learned that birthdays are not just about celebrating another year but about acknowledging the growth within ourselves. As I reflect on moving into this new chapter, I realize how much value there is in being true to oneself and honoring the journey of healing. I've noticed that with age, my priorities have shifted. Physical health becomes more important—for example, warming up my knees before exercise is now a necessary routine rather than an option. Protecting my peace has become more than a saying; it’s a daily commitment to stay centered and avoid stress that doesn’t serve me. And perhaps most importantly, I’ve discovered that joy doesn’t need anyone’s permission—it’s something we cultivate through gratitude and presence. Alongside my personal aspirations, I continue to hold a heartfelt wish for world peace. Every year, this remains a constant hope, reminding me of the greater good beyond individual experience. This year, I’m honored to invite others to join me in celebrating by supporting a nonprofit close to my heart, Launch Learning, which focuses on empowering youth through education. Birthdays, for me, are also about community and connection. Being rich in family, friendships, creativity, and service enriches life far beyond material things. If I can offer any advice to those entering a new age, it is this: embrace your unique self, continue learning and healing, and never stop laughing—even at the quirks and lessons life throws your way. This outlook transforms the meaning of growing older into an empowering and joyful experience.
