Your Reminder to get a TRIM
Letting go of the old to make room for the new is applicable to hair growth too! ✂️
Your hair will feel better! Move better! You’ll be able to style it easier! Less knots and tangles!
I’m on a journey to grow my hair to bra strap length by the end of the year. I trim my ends myself or at the salon every 3-4 months.
Everyone should have a trimming schedule that works for them. What’s your length goal & How often do you trim your ends?
Drop ✂️✂️✂️ if you’re on a consistent trimming schedule.
sb: my hair is purposely cut into layers so not too much on the different lengths. It give the hair so much more body (in my opinion) but .. I’m debating growing out the layers soon.. we’ll see.
Don’t forget to check out parts 1-5!

Trimming your hair regularly is a crucial step in achieving length retention and ensuring healthy hair growth. Many individuals, especially those with type 4 natural hair, find that maintaining a consistent trimming schedule not only minimizes split ends but also enhances overall hair health and manageability. It's recommended to trim every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your hair's condition and your length goals. Incorporate a moisturizing routine alongside your trims to nourish your strands. Using products that contain natural oils or hydrating ingredients can make a significant difference. Additionally, consider creating a hair care routine that includes protective styles, which can help minimize damage and breakage. Remember, healthy hair is beautiful hair, and investing time in maintaining it will pay off in the long run. So, what's your trimming routine?
