How I grew out my hair in 4 months
So I had a quarter-life crisis and cut my hair off in December or January last year. My hair couldn't go in a ponytail now I'm just about to where I started before I cut it. Here are some of the things I started doing.
1. Rosemary and mint oil mixed with water in a spray bottle applied 3x a day…you heard me 3 or more! I looked at a rosemary hair growth oil study and the study said it had to be applied 7x a day to see results. I pretty much just sprayed it when I'd go in or walk past my bathroom
2. Wash at least once a week. I have curly hair so if I go past a week without proper maintenance I will have locs starting to form. Having to detangle locked up hair will rip hair out make it look like it's not growing.
3. I went back to the LOC method. Leave in, oil, cream makes my hair happy or leave in and mousse.
4. I also would drink tons of water. Water will help push any toxins out your body though sweat or urine vs your skin and hair.
5. Protective styles. I kept my hair up and out of the way making sure my ends do not rub on clothes and I use satin pillow cases.
6. Preshampoo. I detangle with pre-shampoo! It has more slip than conditioner. Don’t put shampoo on tangly hair trust me.
I get my hair fried dyed and laid to the side so don’t let ppl tell you that’s the issue. I do box color and semipermanent dyes every 3 month. Just make sure those strands are moisturized

Growing your hair can feel like an uphill battle, but with the right techniques, you can see significant improvements. Start by incorporating rosemary oil into your routine; studies reveal it may enhance growth. Additionally, maintaining a consistent wash schedule helps prevent hair from tangling, which can stunt growth. Remember, hydration is crucial—drinking plenty of water supports overall health, including your hair. Protective styles are another essential strategy, as they shield your ends from damage caused by friction. Lastly, the right detangling method, such as using a pre-shampoo, can save your strands from breakage, allowing your hair to flourish.
