So, February is here, and you know what that means for us bookworms, right? A fresh start for a new reading list! I always get so excited to pick out my reads for the month, and this February is no exception. My list is a mix of gripping romance, epic fantasy, and some titles that have truly captured the online reading community, especially those popular Wattpad sensations. First up, the Elsie Silvers books – 'Flawless,' 'Reckless,' 'Powerless,' and 'Heartless.' If you're into steamy, angsty contemporary romance, these are definitely for you. I've heard so much buzz around them, and I'm really looking forward to diving deep into their interconnected world. They promise those intense emotional rollercoasters that make you completely forget about everything else around you. Then there's the 'After' series – 'After We Collided,' 'After We Fell,' and 'After.' It's fantastic to see how this series started as a sensation on Wattpad and gained a billion reads online, becoming a major motion picture. If you're new to Wattpad novels, this is a fantastic entry point to see what all the hype is about. These books are known for their addictive, dramatic romance, perfect for when you need a captivating escape. They really show the power of user-generated content in the literary world and how a great story can truly take off. Of course, I couldn't make a fantasy romance list without including 'Fourth Wing' and 'A Court of Frost and Starlight' (part of the ACOTAR series). 'Fourth Wing' has been absolutely everywhere, and for good reason – dragons, a war college, and a fierce heroine? Sign me up! And Sarah J. Maas's world, especially 'A Court of Frost and Starlight,' offers such rich storytelling and intricate magic. These are the kinds of books that transport you entirely, making you feel like you're right there with the characters. For those of you looking to curate your own February reading list, here’s my personal approach. I like to balance genres. Maybe one heavy fantasy, a couple of lighter contemporary romances, and one wild card. Don't be afraid to pick up a book purely because of its aesthetic or a recommendation from a friend. I often scroll through BookTok or Lemon8 to see what others are enjoying. Also, think about your mood! February can be a bit gloomy, so sometimes a feel-good romance or an adventurous fantasy is exactly what’s needed to brighten things up. And if you're exploring Wattpad for new reads, look for stories that have a high number of reads and positive reviews – it's often a sign of a truly engaging story, just like the 'After' series. Happy reading, everyone!
