No I wasn’t a body builder, yes I am still a health nut. 🥗✨💪🏼 #customchromatics #chloeoreos #bodybuildingmotivation #ranking #bannerpainting
It's so easy to get caught up in what we think a 'healthy' person should look like or how they should train. I often hear people talk about 'The Body Building way' as the ultimate fitness goal, but for me, finding true health meant stepping away from that specific path. I realized early on that while I deeply value being a 'health nut,' it didn't mean I had to pursue bodybuilding. My journey is about finding an authentic lifestyle that truly nourishes my body and mind, without succumbing to external pressures or unrealistic societal expectations. One of the biggest challenges is balancing what others expect with what genuinely makes you feel good. There's so much pressure to look a certain way, to hit specific gym milestones, or to follow the latest diet trend. But what if your version of physical fitness looks different? For me, it means prioritizing balanced nutrition, incorporating joyful movement like hiking or dancing, and ensuring I get enough restorative sleep, rather than strictly counting macros or lifting heavy every single day. It's about feeling vibrant and strong, not just achieving a particular physique. When we talk about lifestyle choices, it's crucial to compare what truly serves us versus what might lead to burnout or unhappiness. Positive lifestyle choices for physical fitness aren't always about intensity. They involve consistency, listening to your body's signals, and finding activities you genuinely enjoy. This could be anything from daily walks and home workouts to mindful eating and stress reduction practices. These choices foster long-term well-being. On the other hand, negative choices often stem from chasing quick fixes or trying to fit into a mold that isn't right for us. This might include extreme dieting that leads to nutrient deficiencies, overtraining that results in injuries or exhaustion, or constantly comparing your progress to someone else’s highlight reel. While 'The Body Building way' can be a positive and disciplined path for some, for others, it might lead to an unsustainable routine or an unhealthy obsession with aesthetics if it doesn't align with their intrinsic motivation. It's about understanding that health is holistic, encompassing mental and emotional well-being alongside physical strength. Embracing health, in my experience, means cultivating a lifestyle that supports *you*, not a pre-defined image. It’s about discovering what fuels your energy, what exercises bring you joy, and what routines make you feel your best. It’s a continuous process of learning and adapting, always prioritizing your authentic self over fleeting trends or external validation. Ultimately, your health journey is uniquely yours, and finding that balance is the most rewarding part.
