Witches Brew Coffee Shop in Louisville
You know when Gen Z says “you gotta do things for the plot?” That’s what my first experience going to “The Witches Brew” on Frankfort Avenue was. We waited an hour outside in line on a lovely fall-like Saturday morning to try the newest coffee shop in Louisville, last weekend was their grand opening so they still in their first week . I will say the coffee was really delicious (my group got the Voodoo, PSL, and a Bruja), and the staff was as sweet as can be! The owner has top tier marketing skills to open right at the beginning of spooky season- and the customers seem to very much appreciate it. The aesthetic of the coffee shop absolutely matched the outside, I’d describe it as: Southern Gothic meets Midwestern Witchy meets AHS Coven. In addition to a coffee shop, the business also sells metaphysical products: tarot decks, sage, intention, candles, etc. I didn’t purchase any of that simply cause I didn’t know the owner’s practices (personal choice not required). The baristas were incredibly friendly and efficient, even with the massive crowd. They truly deserve every tip for keeping that energy high and those delicious drinks flowing!
