Seductive, budget friendly, long lasting perfumes!

Long, but worth it kind of post!

Listennnnn… the Middle Eastern fragrances have me in a literal chokehold! I get asked what fragrance I am wearing anytime I use these! Get you some and get chased down the block like me🙃

In the same order as the pics:

- Al Haramain Amber Oud Ruby Edition: Notes - Saffron, Bitter Almond, Jasmine, Cedar, Ambergris, Woody, and Musk. It’s basically Baccarat Rouge 540 in a bottle for a fraction of the cost! If you’re into that, then you will love this!

💵 Price: $40 on Amazon.

- Lattafa Opulent Musk: Notes - White Musk, Saffron, Lemon, White Flowers, Jasmine, Cedar, Resin, Amber and Fir Resin. This is for my light, clean, airy perfume girlies that love to smell good in a subtle way. A perfect workplace perfume as it’s very close to the skin. I had a man chase me down in a grocery store because he wanted his wife to smell like it too! Lattafa DOESN’T miss! Everything they produce or dupe is a hit! In terms of what dupe it is, I’d say it’s a dupe of Mancera Instant Crush.

💵 Price: $17 on Amazon.

- Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Sublime: Notes - Apple, Litchi, Rose, Plum, Jasmine, Vanilla, Moss, and Patchouli. Very fruity! This is a fun, flirty, girls night out type of scent. For my girlies that love to scent layer, pair this with Bath and Body Works’ Into the Stars lotion and spray! This one by Lattafa is basically a dupe for Kay Ali’s Eden. If you like that, then you will love this!

💵 Price: $21 on Amazon.

- Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst: Notes - Pink Pepper, Bergamot, Turkish and Bulgarian Roses, Jasmine, Agarwood (Oud), Amber, and Vanilla. This is not for the weak. If you are a spicy, heavy, mature perfume loving girlie, then this is for you! It’s gourmand meets vixen in bottle. This a date night, seductress mode, on the ankles, night time perfume. It’s a dupe for Atomic Rose Initio Parfums Prives.

💵 Price: $21 on Amazon.

- Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Oud for Glory: Notes - Saffron, Nutmeg, Lavender, Agarwood (Oud), Patchouli, and Musk. Another heavy hitting spicy, oriental, woody scent perfect for the art of seducing and leaving a fragrance trail behind in a room you’ve just left out of! This is a scent for night time, demon time, and ankles. It’s a dupe for Oud for Greatness Initio Parfums Prives. IMO it’s like the emo cousin to Oud Satin Mood by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. A little goes a long way with this one!

💵 Price: $23 on Amazon.

- Armaf Venetian Gold Limited Edition: Notes - Passionfruit, Rose, Bergamot, Thyme, Cedar Leaves, Cashmeran, Patchouli, Musk, and Sandalwood. One word: Luxurious. It’s unisex but honestly it leans more feminine with my body chemistry. This smells like what it looks like to walk in a room and instantly demanding everyone’s attention without ever trying! And that is exactly what happens to me when I wear it. I’ve had endless conversations with strangers stopping me in my tracks to ask me what fragrance I’m wearing and where it can be purchased from. My current bottle is on its last few sprays but a fresh new one is on deck waiting to take it’s place! Catch up and get this like yesterday. It’s a dupe for Legend by Montblanc.

💵 Price: $32 on Amazon.

- Dumont Murjan Fakhama Eau De Parfum: Notes - Salt, Ozonic, Turkish Rose, Praline, Vanilla, Patchouli, and Amber Extreme. In the words of Johnny Gill MY, MY, MY, MY, MY, MY, MY! When he said, “And some of that sweet perfume.. It sure smells good on you”, he was talking about this! This one is my favorite! It’s an experience, truly! I can’t describe it. It’s sweet but aquatic, sweet but woody, rich but delicate. Baby this is the one! It lasts and lasts and lasts. Days after I have sprayed it, it’s still in my hair, jacket, purse. Even after my clothes are washed, it’s still there. If the heavens were a bottle of perfume, this would be it! I stumbled upon this randomly shopping at a perfume shop on a vacation over a year ago. Been looking for it online ever since! I had a hard time finding this online! I won’t gate keep but please don’t make the prices go up, friend! It’s labeled as unisex but mixed with my body chemistry, it’s 100% feminine.

💵 Price: $75 on SHEIN.

- Lattafa Khamrah: Notes - Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Bergamot, Dates, Praline, Tuberose, Mahonial, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Amberwood, Myrrh, Benzoin, and Akigalawood. The vibe give a Kept Woman, a soft life woman cooking a fancy pasta with wine and homemade crème brûlée as dessert for her billionaire husband’s dinner. If you want to smell like you’re high maintenance, this is the one! I love this on cold weather nights in the fall and winter! It’s medium scent, not light/airy but not heavy. This one is also unisex. Lasts forever on skin and clothes. It’s a dupe for Kilian’s Angel Share.

💵 Price: $30 on Amazon.

Have you tried any of these?? Let’s chat about it in the comments! Oh, and thanks for making it to the end of my post🫶🏾❤️

... Read moreI've been absolutely obsessed with Middle Eastern fragrances lately, and for good reason! If you're like me, constantly searching for that 'premium-smelling' scent that doesn't break the bank and actually lasts, then you're in for a treat. These perfumes offer incredible longevity and unique profiles, often featuring rich notes like oud, amber, and musk, which are mainstays in niche perfumery but come at a fraction of the cost. One of the biggest questions I get is, 'How do I make my perfume last all day?' While these Middle Eastern beauties are known for their staying power, there are a few tricks I've learned to maximize their longevity. First, always apply to moisturized skin – an unscented lotion creates a barrier that helps the fragrance cling longer. Pulse points like your wrists, neck, and behind the ears are warm spots that project scent beautifully. Don't forget your hair and clothes! A light spritz on your scarf or the ends of your hair can keep you smelling divine for hours, sometimes even days, which is perfect for those 'long-lasting perfumes not heavy affordable' vibes you're chasing. For those of you curious about specific notes, let's talk about oud and musk. If you're looking for a 'budget oud perfume' or a 'budget musk perfume,' Middle Eastern brands are your best bet. Oud, a resinous wood, provides a deep, smoky, often animalic base, while musk can range from clean and airy (like in Lattafa Opulent Musk, which comes in that elegant white bottle) to warm and sensual. These notes contribute significantly to the complexity and longevity that makes these perfumes feel so luxurious. For instance, the Al Haramain Amber Oud Ruby Edition, with its striking red and gold bottle, is a fantastic example of a high-impact, long-lasting scent that feels incredibly opulent without the high price tag. And let's not forget the dupes! Finding a fragrance that reminds you of a high-end designer or niche perfume, like a 'Kilian's Angel Share dupe' or a 'Baccarat Rouge 540 dupe,' is one of the most satisfying parts of exploring this category. Lattafa Khamrah, for example, is a gourmand dream that gives off serious 'treat yourself' energy without costing hundreds. It’s all about getting that luxurious experience and those endless compliments for less. The beauty is that you can often find a 'dupe' or a 'vibe' that captures the essence of a much pricier scent, making luxury accessible. Finally, don't be afraid to experiment with layering! While the original post mentions layering with a body lotion, you can also combine different perfumes. For instance, a lighter floral Middle Eastern scent could be layered with a deeper oud or amber to create a truly unique, personalized fragrance that lasts even longer. It’s a wonderful way to tailor your scent to your mood or the occasion. So go ahead, dive into the world of Middle Eastern perfumery – you might just find your new signature scent!
